![]() ![]() I've had to stop the group policy deployment for the time being. We've been deploying Acrobat since version 9 through this method, but this is the first time I've ever encountered this. The only fix is to manually go to the users computers, completely uninstall it through program files, then reinstall manually from the AIP. How some users are ending up with ones from version 11.0.02 is just baffling. I did verify the custom transform installer is set to remove all previous versions. ![]() People are getting crashes that show the new EXE version (11.0.07), but one of the older DLL's or an older EXE version and one of the newer DLL's. Worked fine and was able to slipstream 11.0.07 patch using this method.īut when pushing this out through group policy, its causing all sorts of freakish issues. I eventually gave up on patching from one of our older AIP points and re-downloaded the full install with the included 11.0.07 patch. I've also had nothing but issues with this update. Verify that the specified transform paths are valid Glad im not the only one having issues, however even when I try to do the msiexec for 11.0.06 to the 11.0.00 MSI when I try to install it says Error applying transforms. So I went to the Adobe FTP site and downloaded the two files I need according to adobe to do the update. So 11.0.07 says it can update 11.X (any version that is greater than 11.0.00). I even tried to Uninstall 11.0.04 and install 11.0.07 using the exe file. ![]() When I install the update after patching it with the steps below, I just get an error saying that it can not upgrade this version or the patch is missing. I have done this 1000 times but I do not know if I am forgetting something simple or if something is just flat out broken. So I am trying to update Adobe reader 11.0.04 to 11.0.07 via Group Policy. ![]()
